The Norwegian Data Protection Authority has announced a fine of 100 million NOK against the dating app Grindr. The Consumer Council is now asking the Data Protection Authority to impose measures to ensure that the company also must identify and delete illegally collected personal data.
Today, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority issued an advance notification of a 100 million NOK (€ 9 600 000) fine to the dating app Grindr, as a result of a legal complaint filed by the Norwegian Consumer Council.
The Norwegian Consumer Council asks eight companies to clarify their surveillance of users of the apps Perfect365 and MyDays.
